How to choose a budget smartphone for your mother?
Some times ago, one of my friend ask me for help, he is looking for a budget smartphone for his mother, his mother hope this phone main use be calls, texts, WhatsApp and maybe travel apps and the odd photo, anything else comparable for the price (both around $200 on payg).
This question is a bit difficult for me. Now our young man are also use iPhone, Samsung, Huawei smartphones amd their price are also not cheap, so I search on the Google and I want to find a budget smartphone for my friend’s mother. Of course if you wan to buy a smartphone for your elder parents, this is a good guide. And I found there are some phones are good choices.
1. Kenxinda K10
KXD K10 was an all screen premium flagship mobile phone from KXD, one that was sorely needed after years of similarity and the premium design, extra power, all-screen front mix together to create - by far - the best Phone Kenxinda's ever made.

It's no surprise to see Vodafone's Smart N8 make an appearance here: it's a massive improvement over the previously-impressive Smart Prime 7, with a much better camera and a fingerprint reader, too.
For the low, low price of just $100, you get a handset that runs Android 7 Nougat as well as all the flagship features you've come to expect. Its battery life is a tad short – and is surpassed by its older Smart Prime 7 sibling – but performance is decent enough for a phone at this price. The Vodafone Smart N8 is so dirt cheap, it's almost impossible to pass up.
Price: $160
Another Honor phone on this list, the firm's latest budget smartphone is as worthy of an entry as its many other handsets. It's well-priced – although if it wasn't it wouldn't be on this list – and edges out from the rest in key areas such as display and performance. Its camera or battery life might not be as good as others, but that's not stopping it from being one of the best value smartphones yet from the Huawei subsidiary.
What's best, too, is that the Honor 7A is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430, rather than the Huawei-made Kirin chip plaguing the firm's other smartphones. Essentially, you're getting a much better processor inside this budget smartphone that's significantly faster than the majority of its dirt-cheap competition.
The cheapest entry in Moto’s 2018 G-series is far from flashy, but if it’s value for money you’re after then you can’t go wrong. Where the Moto G6 Play beats its pricier sibling is when it comes to battery life. The endurance here is fantastic and if battery life and value are your biggest wants then you won’t go wrong.
Tips: How we select the best budget smartphones
But before we dive into our top picks for the best budget smartphones, we thought it would be best to explain how we came to selecting them. It all comes down to practice. We used each of the smartphones as our main handset for a week, moving all of our data across.
Dedicating all of our time to the device means we can see how it fares in the real world. We’re able to get an accurate reading of how long they last on a single charge, how much strain you can put on the processor before it starts to break a sweat and how good the camera is on a whim.
